Trent Psychological Therapies Service Ltd is a national provider of Psychological Therapy Services in the provision of Mental Health Services and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. We are looking to appoint 1 x Trainee PWP to join a team of trainee, qualified and senior PWPs in Derby city centre. We are also looking to appoint up to 3 x Trainee PWPs to be based in Nottingham.


The post offered is a fully funded training positions with a requirement to attend the PWP Training at De Montfort University for one day per week and deliver Step 2 Psychological Interventions for 4 days per week for 12 months. This is a full-time post and no part time options are available. The training course is very demanding and has an excellent reputation nationally. Applicants need to be driven to succeed, able to organise their own work load and develop innovative methods of service delivery. In addition, you will receive high level of in-house skills training and expert Clinical Case Supervision.


Salary: AFC Band 4 Pay Point 11 – 17 £21,089 – £23,761 (dependent on experience)


The post is based on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months whilst training is completed. A Substantive Contract will be available to staff who successfully complete the training course and achieve satisfactory levels of performance.


You must be available to commence employment by mid-February 2020 or you will not be considered on this occasion. There is the option to commence employment with us earlier if you are available to do so.

Selection will be a joint individual interview with De Montfort University and Trent PTS which will be in December 2019.
