Trent PTS has undertaken a complete redesign of our service delivery model at Step 2, and to support the PWP Team Leader with these developments we are recruiting a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners for our Chesterfield base. You will work within a team of 5 other Senior PWPs to support the wider team (including trainees and qualified PWPs) across 3 bases.


You will have proven experience of delivering assessment and PWP interventions with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and ages. You will be passionate about promoting meaningful and effective therapeutic experiences for clients at Step 2 and have  the clinical leadership skills to offer case management and clinical skills supervision to both quailed and trainee PWPs.


Trent PTS is the largest IAPT provider across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We have an excellent track record of delivering evidence based psychological therapies as part of the local IAPT provision. We provide a high-quality, professional and tailored service to people with anxiety and depressive disorders, offering a wider range of treatment choices and easy-access to effective and evidence based psychological therapies.


The post is open to all qualified PWPs with extensive experience of delivering Low Intensity Primary Care mental health therapy. If you are an engaging, committed and professional therapist, we would welcome your application to help us to continue to provide psychological interventions as part of the National IAPT program within the stepped care model. It is essential that you can conduct high-quality primary care assessments as well as being able to formulate, plan and monitor effective treatment plans for clients with a broad range of common mental health problems with a focus on rehabilitation and patient autonomy.


You will be a highly motivated and experienced professional who can demonstrate an excellent understanding of Low Intensity Interventions across all delivery platforms. You must be able to work autonomously in order to support the development of an effective and innovative step 2 service across at least two sites. These posts will be based in our Derby Team


Salary AFC Band 6 £30,401
