Trent PTS has undertaken a complete redesign of our Step 2 service and we now have established PWP teams in Chesterfield, Derby and Nottinghamshire. We are due to open a new base in Bramcote, Nottingham in early 2020, therefore are looking to recruit a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner as part of this team. You will work within a team of Trainee, Qualified and Senior PWPs across the four bases to continue promoting the high-quality intervention offered at Step 2. This is a particularly exciting opportunity to be part of the set-up of a new team.

You will have proven experience of delivering assessment and PWP interventions with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and ages. You will be passionate about promoting meaningful and effective therapeutic experiences for clients at Step 2.

Why work for us?

Trent PTS is the largest IAPT provider across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We have an excellent track record of delivering evidence based psychological therapies as part of the local IAPT provision.

We understand the importance of developing a Step 2 team that promotes innovation, skill development and career progression. We therefore offer clear progression within Step 2 as well as opportunities for those who seek further training.

Within Step 2:

At Trent PTS we offer the unique opportunity to progress through five levels:

  • Trainee PWP
  • Qualified PWP
  • Senior PWP
  • Locality Team Leader
  • Step 2 Clinical Lead

If progression within Step 2 appeals to you, and you demonstrate your abilities as an engaging, committed and professional PWP we will support you in moving up in to roles that involve more managerial responsibility and overseeing service development.

Within Trent PTS:

We also understand that further training is something strong candidates may be looking for. Therefore if you can demonstrate your skills as a highly skilled PWP and move up in to a Senior role, we also offer the option to progress automatically in to High-Intensity CBT training after 2 years.
