Trent PTS provides NHS psychological services (IAPT) across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We have ambitious plans to expand our teams to meet continued demand.  Within Nottinghamshire, we have teams in Nottingham city centre who work in dedicated psychotherapy centres providing all IAPT approved treatment modalities being closely aligned to GP practices and university health services.  We also have teams in Bingham and Bilborough. All our teams are expanding in the next few months but right now we are opening a new treatment centre in Bramcote. Located within the Broxtowe District, Bramcote is an easily accessible suburb of Nottingham and is well serviced by public transport.

Our Bramcote clinic will be a new team drawn together from existing staff who may want to transfer and new staff whom we now wish to recruit. It is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team establishing its presence within the surrounding community but also supporting a wider catchment area through digital technologies and skype type interventions. All our therapists have a dedicated room, efficient data management systems and administrative support available, all underpinning our expert clinical services.

Trent PTS is singularly focused on achieving remarkable outcomes for our local populations. We are an organisation that is dynamic, agile and dedicated to helping our staff reach and exceed their potential. We have an active continuing professional development programme which is currently being further refreshed and we are keen to further increase its emphasis on clinical skills development. Clinical supervision and supervisor groups are at the centre of our clinical governance process, along with partnership developments and creating pathways for vulnerable populations. In the near future we will be developing a leadership programme for career development in our expanding business.

We are seeking a strong leader for our new clinic in Bramcote to drive the business locally, build a supportive, collaborative team and create great working relationships with our external partners.  This role might be of interest to those looking for a change and are interested in moving to Nottingham or to those who may be local but like the idea of working for an IAPT led progressive business.

Salary: AFC Band 8 Pay Point 33 – £44,606

All staff are expected to offer at least one evening clinic, working 12.00 noon to 8pm.

In addition to ensuring our employees feel valued, appreciated and supported, we offer:

  • A competitive salary with regular pay reviews in line with Agenda for Change
  • Eligibility to join the NHS Pension Scheme
  • Generous holiday entitlement of 27 annual leave days rising to 29 days after 5 years’ service and 33 days after 10 years’ service, plus bank holidays
