An exciting opportunity for a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist has arisen due to continued expansion of our services. Trent PTS is the largest IAPT provider across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We have an excellent track record of delivering evidence based psychological therapies as part of the local IAPT provision. We provide a high-quality, professional and tailored service to people with anxiety and depressive disorders, offering a wider range of treatment choices and easy-access to effective and evidence based psychological therapies.

Due to our on-going expansion, we are recruiting a new Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for our Long Eaton Team. Long Eaton is a bustling market town on the Derbyshire/Nottingham border with easy access to M1 and both Nottingham City and Derby City. This post is an opportunity for a full time Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to join an energetic team of psychotherapists in delivering IAPT services to our clients in Long Eaton and surrounding areas.

The post is open to Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists currently accredited or holding an accreditable qualification with extensive experience of delivering Primary Care mental health and experience in couple’s therapy. If you are an engaging, committed and professional therapist you could work for Trent PTS and help us to continue to provide psychological interventions as part of the National IAPT programme. It is essential that you can conduct high-quality primary care assessments as well as being able to formulate, plan and monitor effective treatment plans for clients with a broad range of common mental health problems with a focus on rehabilitation and patient autonomy.

You will be a highly motivated, experienced professional, who conforms to evidence based therapy models. You will be able to work autonomously and take the lead in organising your own work as part of a dynamic community of therapists.

As an organisation, we invest in our staff to make sure they can continue offering superb clinical services. This means that we provide excellent clinical supervision and CPD to meet requirements of continued accreditation. Trent PTS offers a wide range of clinical skills training using internal expertise, external trainers and established post-graduate University courses to ensure that all staff can access a high level of continued professional development opportunities. This includes accredited supervision courses, specific supplementary clinical trainings such as EMDR and behavioural couples training, ISTDP as well as a variety of clinical skills trainings such as psychosexual practice, working with complex presentations and long-term conditions.

All staff are expected to offer at least one evening clinic, working 12.00 noon to 8pm.

In addition to ensuring our employees feel valued, appreciated and supported, we offer:

• A competitive salary with regular pay reviews in line with Agenda for Change.
• Eligibility to join the NHS Pension Scheme
